1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS $84,995
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS was the subject of an extensive rotisserie restoration which returned the last of the first-generation Camaros to its best of both RS and SS worlds. At the core of the Camaro is the Turbo-Jet 396-cubic-inch big-block Chevrolet rated for 375 horsepower at 5,600 RPM and 415 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 RPM fitted with aluminum cylinder head trim and equipped with single Holley 4-barrel carburetor atop a factory high-rise aluminum intake manifold. The big-block engine is backed by an optional floor-shift 4-speed manual transmission which puts the twist down to the ground through a 12-bolt rear axle with Positraction limited slip.
The Super Sport package brought along heavy-duty clutch, suspension, and power front disc brakes for road handling to match its horsepower. The body was finished into its formal tuxedo black with a new black vinyl top. A set of scallop stripes lead the eye into the crisp white vinyl standard interior. The all-transistor pushbutton AM radio is ready to entertain and Soft Ray-tinted glass gives the driver and passenger alike a big-block Camaro world view. A 3-spoke Rally Sport steering wheel and genuine GM black floor mats add to showroom-fresh effect of this comprehensive restoration. The 1969 Camaro RS/SS rides on 5-spoke super sport wheels and reproduction raised white-letter Polyglas bias-ply tires with a correct spare and jack assembly in the trunk.
